Girls With Slingshots Guest Comic!

My friend, Danielle Corsetto, has a webcomic going called "Girls With Slingshots" and its one of the best ones going. Its consistently charming and funny and the art style is graceful and confident.

So when I heard that she was pressed for time this week, I offered to do a guest comic for her.

The comic, written by Peter and drawn by me, is up now so I invite you to have a look.

This is a picture of Dannikka the Elf from our new comic "Minion Maze" that I penciled and Danielle inked & colored.

It looks like Danielle isn't done helping out Minion Maze. She linked to the comic on her site, and we've already got a HUGE traffic spike from her large and loyal fanbase coming over to check it out!

The event at Wild Pigs was a ton of awesome fun. It was great hanging out with everyone and drawing all night.

I believe Peter Timony and Pete Stathis, who draws the excellent comic, Evenfall, were the only two to complete a 24 hour comic. I didn't even try. Instead, I used the time to work on the Night Owls, finishing the art for five comic strips and penciling a sixth one, which, as it turns out, is the final episode of season two!

I also found a little time to work on a top secret NEW webcomic idea that we've been kicking around for a while now.

This is a little collaborative effort by me and the amazingly talented Danielle Corsetto of "Girls with Slingshots". I pencilled it and she inked and colored it. Honestly, Danielle made it look so good, I wish she could work on everything I drew!

A 24 Hour Comics event!

This weekend from noon Saturday to noon on Sunday we'll be helping our freinds at Wild Pig Comics II promote their annual 50% off sale by staying up ALL NIGHT and making comics! If you're anywhere near Kenilworth NJ this weekend, stop on in, no matter how late it is!

We wont be the only ones there, either! Joining us in this marathon event will be Erica Hesse of The Key, James Hatton of In His Likeness, David Gallaher and Steve Ellis of High Moon, Bill Ellis (no relation to Steve Ellis), Pete Stathis of Evenfall, and Danielle Corsetto of Girls with Slingshots!

As much as I love the 24 Hour Comics Challenge, this time I'll be using the time to get ahead on deadlines. Peter, however, will take up the gauntlet and write and draw 24 pages in 24 hours or less!

Danielle Corsetto draws the Night Owls!

While we were working on the 24 hour comics challenge, Danielle Corsetto, creator of the wonderful comic strip "Girls with Slingshots", managed to find time to draw this truly amazing sketch of the Night Owls! I'm just blown away by how lively and cool this drawing is! Thank you, Danielle!
