That's right. Last night, Pete and I laid the foundation for a new flavor sensation!
On our last trip to New Orleans (everybody should go there! It's awesome!), we fantasized about how cool it'd be to own a restaurant in the USA's best place for awesome food. Part of what makes the landscape of food in New Orleans so charming is it's many unique and colorfully named dishes that originated there. Examples include the Muffaletta, the Po' Boy, and Oysters Rockefeller, and many more!
So we decided to come up with a New Orleans inspired Original Recipe that has never been made before!
Behold! The first ever Jumbumbler!
It is DELICIOUS! The exact recipe is still a jealously guarded secret, but involves crab meat and citrus, with a secret blend of cajun spices, deep fried!
Naturally there will be more varieties of Jumbumblers in the future, such as crawfish Jumbumblers and andouille sausage Jumbumblers, as well as a variety of dipping sauces.
